Calling all young mortal artists!
The Lú Festival of Light is hosting a colouring competition! Winners will see their masterpiece projected onto the iconic walls of St. Peters Church, West Street as part of this years Lú Festival of Light Urban Animation Projections. Imagine your very own artwork lighting up the town for everyone to see! This is a unique opportunity for young creators to be a part of the Lú Festival magical animations and showcase their talent on a massive scale.
Winning artworks will join the epic stories of heroes, inventors, Gods and Goddesses, and tales from Irish Mythology projected onto St Peters Church.
The competition is open to children aged 12 and under, and we’re looking for vibrant, creative, and imaginative designs that capture the spirit of the festival. You can download the colouring sheet by clicking this link: Colouring Sheet and Entry Form.

-Entries must be returned to the Love Drogheda BID office on Meatmarket Lane or emailed to hello@lovedrogheda.ie by 5pm Monday 6th October.
-Entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form, signed by a parent/guardian.
The Lú Festival of Light is Ireland’s largest outdoor urban animation festival and is part of
Ireland’s “Home of Halloween”. The festival if a free, family-friendly event and will take
place in Drogheda from 24th to 27th October, bringing to life stories from Ireland’s Ancient Mythology and animating some of Drogheda’s most iconic buildings.
