Ahead of the upcoming St Patrick’s Day celebrations, Louth County Council’s Operations Team carried out a spring clean on West St and Narrow West St.
A number of areas were deep cleaned, significantly improving the colouration and appearance of the paving.
The team removed built up grime, cleared litter hotspots, and washed down high footfall sections to enhance the overall look and feel of the street ahead of the festivities.

Love Drogheda BID are delighted to see the recent deep clean works undertaken by Louth County Council. It is excellent to see the pedestrian footpaths restored to their
original colour and condition. A clean and well presented town centre is an essential ingredient in helping to encourage footfall in our town along with attractive and
engaging shop frontages.
We look forward to seeing further colour being introduced to the town centre over the next couple of months with the upcoming flower basket grants.
