The evenings are getting shorter, the air is getting cooler and the warm glow of Christmas is nearly upon us! So wrap up warm and come to town for our big Christmas Light Switch on Friday the 17th of November!
It promises to a fun filled evening for all the family with lots of free activities including balloon modelling, carol singing, festive ballet, Greatest Showman roadshow, and some of your favourite cartoon characters mingling with all the visitors starting from 6PM on the night!
Our event partners, Drogheda Credit Union, invites you all to get into the festive spirit with their Christmas Jumper Competition taking place on the night. Prizes will be given on the night for the ‘Most Jolly Jumper’, ‘ Festive Family costume’ and spot prizes for most creative and cheery festive wear.
Santa will be taking time out to visit Drogheda with lots of festive friends and to be in with a chance of turning the Christmas Lights on with Santa we need you to get your colouring pencils out. This year we are running a competition to select three lucky winners (under 6, under 8 and under 12) to switch on the Christmas Lights in town with Santa.
