Born from the electric atmosphere of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Ceili Picnic was a joyful, grassroots celebration of Irish music, dance, and community that captured the heart of Drogheda. That unforgettable summer saw the town come alive, not just with melodies and rhythms, but with a sense of unity and pride that welcomed thousands to experience Drogheda’s rich heritage and warm hospitality.
Now, in July 2025, as the Leinster Fleadh returns to Drogheda, so too does Ceili Picnic, bringing back the vibrant spirit that lit up the streets and hearts in 2019. From July 11th to 13th, prepare for a weekend packed with the best of traditional and contemporary Irish music, in a setting that celebrates the town’s enduring love for culture and connection.
Ceili Picnic is especially delighted to be featuring local talent, offering a platform for emerging voices from Drogheda and beyond.
